Saturday, Apr 12, 2008 Using Skype in Nokia E61i
Most of my friends have saw me using my Nokia E61i before. And, their first question is… why don’t u use iphone? (my ans is, as always…, I don’t wanna crack my iphone…)
This phone is nicely built and it’s, for sure, not as sexy as iphone. But it’s a good substitute until iPhone is official launched in Hong Kong.
Anyway, that’s not the focus on this article.
I’ve been searching for Skype solution for the phone. There’s no official Symbian Skype software from Skype. It’s been a little struggle to get the right solution. (Or, my google skill is just too bad…) Finally, I found the Fring company offering Skype service for various type of mobile including Nokia’s Symbian, UIQ Symbian and other phone OSes.
